Hello! Welcome to the 2016 Summer Reading Challenge. We are excited to update the Challenge with a new blog feature.
Each week of the challenge, beginning May 23rd, will focus on a specific genre or book type. We will have a blog post devoted to providing reading suggestions in that genre or book type.
Kim Warwick, librarian at Beckendorff Junior High, has agreed to serve as our resident blogger this summer. Ms. Warwick also has the distinct honor of serving on the Texas Library Association's Lone Star Committee which generates the annual Lone Star List of suggested reading for young adults. This means Mrs. Warwick has an opportunity to review great books and spends a tremendous amount of time reading!
The Secondary Language Arts Coordinators are grateful Ms. Warwick will be sharing her passion for reading and insights to great literature with the 2016 Summer Reading Challenge.
